Aftermarket Micro Disk for Lee Turret Press

Haven't ordered from this guy, but his product should work .... price seems reasonable for the blank disks.

FYI: It's helpful to modify your drill bit for drilling plastic to prevent the bit from grabbing ( google search will tell you all you need to know )

Wish I'd found this link a few months ago  I ended up making a bushing to fit one of the disks I had
to load for the 38 S&W.

I like that bushing idea.
I thought I had seen all the ideas, with the set screw in the side looking most promising.

Just a comment on the drill bit.
I'll be forever in the debt of a machinist who years ago showed me how to grind a bit for plastic and sheet metal.
It's a good thing to learn.

Thank's guys
I have ordered the Mini Disk and bar. I will use it to load light 38 Special wad cutter loads and also for 38S&W (38/200). I will see how it works and post my verdict here!

cheers

I've used one when making some test loads....
Sometimes the jump from one cavity to the next will put you over published maximum for a particular load.

I had horrible problems using the Lee adjustable charge bar and Titegroup. The powder would bridge and I would get squib loads. I have stopped using both and no more issues (although if I can't get more WST I may have to go back to TG).

Auggie D.

I had exactly the same problem when using the adjustable charge bar with Alliant Promo. Most loads would be fine but out of nowhere I'd get a couple of squibs caused by powder bridging. The bar might be OK for fine grain powders like Bullseye or some of the Accurate pistol powders but I would never trust it when using larger flake powders. I went back to using the Lee disks and the problem went away.

I've loaded about 2500rds using titegroup mostly with that adjustable, visually check each one before loading projectile and have never had an issue with it. My drops whenever I've checked (Checks when I do them are three initial consistent drops on RCBS 5-0-5 in a row, then check every tenth drop then twentieth, then fourtieth, etc. have always had drops stabilize with .1gr variation or so)

Seemed to take a while to get it set to the exact spot I wanted but since then it's been flawless for me.

Obviously, ymmv.
