20% off everything in the store? this makes me wonder if they're raising their prices so it looks like a good deal at checkout.

dealers moan and complain about low margin's and how hard it is to be profitable. how can they take a hit that big and maintain themselves if there's no margin? :yingyang:

I sell technology. there's no margin in technology...like 12% as an average. it's all about volume for us... :p

of course, I don't mean to twist the screws on anyone, just funny considering what PofD has shared with us. could just be they're making no money on a day or two of sales, cause it's good for business. having some loss leaders to generated good will can be a smart move! :cool:

This is a ludicrous idea. We don't have an electronic inventory system. I would have to manually take 10,000+ price stickers off my products and replace them with higher prices. I assure you we have not raised our prices just to offer a discount on it.
 
Phoned right at opening time.... Haven't heard back yet. Guessing I am going to be SOL. Probably should of earmarked the funds for something else. Hopefully they return calls in order received...
 
How are the lines? Anything like last year? I know the staff is busy but if anyone is there, what's the .308 ammo supply like?

How are you guys making out? Any idea when you think your team might be able to get back to us phone-ins? I know you are likely still swamped with walk-ins, just trying to get an approximate time frame. Fingers crossed I can still get some on my list. Thanks.
