I like it... so what are your plans for it?
Going to do a full load workup, and may take it hunting this winter for woods bison.
Will pass it on eventually, no doubt.

Impressive target Ted and nice rifle ! Thanks for sharing,
Both my Vanguard S2s, a 7 Rem. Mag. and a 243 that was just like yours are making wee tiny groups.
Actually I don't think that anyone has come on the Forum complaining about poor accuracy from a Vanguard yet...
Im kinda dumb when it comes to rifles but you didn't hit the green T, would that be the objective? To get that small group into the centre of the T?
I am assuming that those are the first shots. Boresighted and barrel not at all broken in. Modern scopes have 70-100 inches of windage and elevation adjustment. Simple adjustment to bring to zero. For me, using a max 7X at 100, with only a gross aiming point, that is incredible. Incredible...... lucky to have that accurate a barrel, pull off perfect shots, or stumble on a great recipe in his load. Certainly shows awesome potential, from what most people consider the best of the budget rifles, with chevrolet projectile. Ted has a new toy.
Looking for another one...........

Good thing I'm drinking, makes Kamlooky's posts just naturally decipherable without any brain cramps.....Getting edumicated one post at a time!
Also starting to consider a Vanguard, seriously considering.....

Geez...it barely kept all three shots on an 8.5"X11" sheet of paper...what a lemon! Send it to me and I'll dispose of it in this brushy backwater.
Another flamer stock or entire rifle?
I just got a replacement stock for my short action... so the flamer will be going as long as the new stock doesn't hurt accuracy.
