Anyone build a C7A1 from their SA20?

CC builds their ARs closer to the original design. Their semi auto bcg or as some people call it the hybrid bcg is actually the original semi auto design. As per Matt's posts on the subject.

The most common mod for the SA20s seems to be the addition of the green furniture and extra bits to create a C7A2. For a variety of reasons, I've got a soft spot for the C7A1 and was thinking I might go that direction with my SA20.

Anyone here done a similar retrofit? Or would this be CC sacrilege?

To my stock SA20, I added green furniture and a C79A3 scope.

Except for selective fire, I'd say it's the same as CAF issue.

Did the same with my SA 15.7...green furniture...Eotech 522.

I was first issued a C7A1 on basic, I won my QM with the exact same C7A1 13 years later. So there are some good memories and I still like shooting a solid stocked, non ambi, non Norgon rifle.

I have a Colt A2 stock I bought from Brownells and the metal spacers.

I have a short Colt CS stock sitting around for when I finally decide to put together a C7A1 clone.

Wish they'd release some 14.5" C8 skinny barrels. I can't stand the heavy contour of the A3 and the simon sleeve. Too much bulk and weight.
