A few Updates for Dealers & Consumers!
Canpar & UPS are open today so we are resuming shipping immediately and playing some catch up!
-AS46, Short-Barrelled Pum...ps, Single Shots, Full Size Pump & Semi and a few new products as well are all available.
TWI, Uzkon & the RCMP:
As TWI receives new products into Canada, we conduct a series of tests on all incoming products.
During our diligence with the AS46 we identified an issue (not performance related) that has an impact to competitive products in Canada.
It is our legal and moral obligation to report such findings to the RCMP in the interest of public safety. We met those obligations immediately.
We will not comment on the impact to competitive products as that is not our job. What we can say is that the BR99 series guns will have a shipping delay of about 1 week but AS46 and all other models can ship today.
All of the new models (BR99, TR100) arriving in the next 10 days will have the proprietary modifications and there will be no more delays going forward.
I want to thank the TWI staff, the RCMP FRT Technicians (ML) and the ownership and engineers of Uzkon for reacting swiftly to a previously unidentified issue that is market specific to Canada.
We apologize for any inconvenience to our Dealers & their Customers. With several of these firearms being new to Canada, we must ensure that all technical attributes of these articles are 'as described' and that they meet the FRT guidelines for legal classification in Canada. We will provide an update as these goods ship
so in short, for our clients it means we will have a to wait for a few days before we can ship them out, yes we do have them in stock we are just waiting on the parts
FYI, they are still non restricted, this has no issue with that.
