G17 gen3 or 4 2016 price

Does any one know if you can get a cz Scorpion Evo in Canada they come with full rail supposed to be unreal. I have only seeing the old Scorpions about 10 years old.

you are looking at around $800-$1000 dude.

Thats insane.....I remember getting a gen 4 when they forst came out for 615$ a few years back from sportique......these are definitely not worth the 800-1000$ especially with that crappy "U" style rear site

Our dollar is in the toilet, so we have to pay $130.00 Canadian for every $100.00 U.S. On a $700.00 purchase 2 years ago that an extra $210.00 on top of that now. I do agree it's insane, but every firearm will cost more next year not just Glock.

Everybody on this forum pretends like are doller being low is a new thing in the past 20 years we were maybe par for 6 months tops.. are dollar has always being cap but to pretend we ever got good deals on guns is a lie... 2016 is just about getting ripped off more then we ever have a glock in the states is maybe 500. So if Canadian dealers start charging 900 don't buy a glock by a sig p226 or cz 75. Buy what is the best value Glocks were the best cause they were cheap now it's a top grade price. Another good selection would be a
Berreta or ppq navy.

The canadian dollar has been at or a bit better than par for much longer than 6 months in the past 10 years. The issue is we are at a 10 year or longer low after coming of a long term strong dollar so its hard to adjust. The value of an item TO ME is better seen /represented by the USD Price. Chaps me a bit when canadian retailers put their markup AND exchange on top of us retailer msrp which already has a markup.

Either used guns are going to become more sought after. Prices are getting crazy. Sig P226 series is over 1400 now. I think this low dollar will hurt retailers. Ppl won't be able to afford guns, ammo etc.

I never thought I would see the day when a glock was over 1k, but it has arrived. I feel for the canadian retailers .... the dollar really hurts us. The market will decide what the canadian consumers are willing to pay. I saw the writing on the wall years ago and was able to get most of what I wanted when our dollar was strong.

Sig and glock are biggest mark up rip off guns these days there way better pistols to be looked at for 2/3 of price and of course buy something used!

You mean $140.

Obviously, I know what you mean and agree. But to put some more time in this timeline, I remember back in the early 90's (before internet) buying a *new* plain-Jane Glock 17 (Gen2) for approximately $1200+ (taxes in perhaps?)
I bought one back then and probably got ripped, but ouch! I remember thinking it was the most amazing thing ever... a futuristic plastic gun! :)

I just picked up a gen 4 off the EE lightly used with some extra's and after seeing the new store price's I'm glad I did. Mind you it's not in my hands yet so maybe I'll wish I bought new when I see it.....LOL Guy had lots of good feedback though. 1st restricted for me!

I sure hope the dollar does not get worse, but with Tru-DOH! at the helm its probably just the beginning sadly.

Check with P&D Enterprises in Edmonton; they list Glock G17/ Gen 3 for $705.00 and G19/Gen 3 for $830.00. I was just in there today and they still have product as listed. I am reasonably sure it is older stock from the summer, but to their credit they have not upped the price like some other vendors.
