I loved that film,tough as nails that guy was ,no life jacket ,down sleeping bag,back pack,Sitka gear and the BOOTS, my feet are sore just thinking about climbing in what he was wearing,then after a hard day nothing beats a smoke lol
The scenery was incredible

You know that the canoe got away from him and Ted was chasing it down the river astride a moose he dragged from the riverbank.

The south nahanni region is my most favourite place I've ever set foot in. Spent two seasons working there.

The book dangerous river by R.M. Patterson is a must read for any one. I've read it 4-5 times over the years and should pull it out for a read again.

None of that matters.... When Ted goes swimming he doesn't get wet.... The water gets "Wagnered"......
