I'm looking to source the tubing that would be suitable to use the 9mm Hornady bullet feeder die. It's available dirt cheap all over the US but I can't seem to source anything suitable in Canada.
The item, interestingly enough, is tubing that is used in an aquarium ... specifically LEE'S Lees Thinwall Rigid Tubing (7/16" o.d. for 9mm I believe).

I'm just going to use them for feed tubes .... nothing to do with the big hopper bullet feeder.

Anyway, I can't be the first to encounter this dilemma. Does anyone have any info that would help me out or alternative tubing types?

Many thanks.

Im literally working on this as we speak. The only thing I noticed was the feeder doesnt like cast bullets much. Not too reliable in dropping them. I've looked as well, but have yet to find anything. So Im just going to make a rotary feeder and metal tube that fit the 9mm. Should work well I hope. Ill let you guys know if it comes out well.

Go to your local aquarium retailer. I went to my local Big Al's. I'm on vacation now but off the top of my head, I believe I bought the 7/16" OD tubes. You'll need to put about 1 1/2 wraps of electrical tape on the end.

Hornady makes aluminum tubes for the bullet feeder as well.

Found the article on making your own bullet feeder tubes.

No luck with the aquarium store here. May have to look into the aluminum tubing. Downfall being that I can't see how many are left in the tube.

The Hornady bullet feeder tube has a slot milled into the side of the tube so you can see when the bullets are running low.
