Mossberg 590 wood!

You could just buy a Mosssberg 500 with wood stock, and then just switch the furniture.

Everything is compatible.
 
Looking for the same......eBay or Amazon out of the USA has lots even with the exchange rate u can still get a pretty good deal even some of the used stuff that's beat up and scratched looks great
 
That does look pretty good. I think they used a dark walnet type stain but the wood is some other hardwood like birch.

I have the same wood on an old police trade in 500 but it has a much lighter/blonde type finish.

Well I got this set for free! What a great gunner! Crack was not bad at all and I had a pro repair it for me. Stock set light sand and stained and turned out why better then I had hoped! Thanks for the wood gunguy34, I will pay this kindness forward.
 
I have a non-matching wood set that someone can have for cheap and refinish (no cracks or gouges). PM me for pics... I don't have the skill to refinish them to match so I didn't do anything with them.

The new wood they put on the 500's is pretty cheap light coloured beech with little grain, they did make a 500 Classic with walnut though. New wood looks like this and you have to be careful it's not for the shorter forend...
