Wife has a nice ppq m1 (love the Maddie mag ejection) which she loves. Problem is to fit it in the case we have to use one of those cheap plastic screw on trigger locks wit the little 2 prong key. To be honest I just find these things anoying. Everything else is been moved to combo locks for ease of removal and low key count. With 2 more pistols in the mail with there own cases I want to find a better solution. So is anyone know of any low profile tiger locks, combo is preference but I can handle a key.

Tagged for interest. I'd love to see a low profile combination lock. I once had to cut open a locked pistol case at a large match because I had forgotten the keys to the box at home. I've used combination locks ever since.

As an alternative why not switch to using the large pluckable foam lined "tool/instrument" cases sold by Princess Auto? Depending on the size they will transport multiple hand guns and easily accommodate the regular profile combo or keyed trigger locks. I fit 3 in the 16" case and 5 in the 22". They are lockable and are often on sale for 40-50% off.

I tried those cheap two prongs locks. They fit the OEM cases well enough but were so frustrating to use I decided it was easier just to go to using cases that fit the widely available trigger locks.
