I read a thread saying that the BB admins are sitting on their hands, and based on checking the website, not much in terms of courses have been posted.

Any one know if there are courses coming up in the spring?

Thanks!

The Ontario "BB admins" want you to do your own leg work, get the range time booked and people committed for the course, then contact them back to get instructor for that time.

That is kind of crummy, my club has made it clean that they don't close the range down for a BB Corse . I was hoping to get my BB this summer.

You don't have to do the course at your club.

No I get that but if it up to individual people to organize it get difficult to know and organize it at a diffrent club that's all. That is a lot of leg work for one person to do to get in the discipline. Where as if some who is familiar and runs the coarse regularly and has connections to clubs that will offer the range time is much easier.

All you have to do is contact the BB Coordinator and let him know you are interested and he will look after you.

Couple of things, the biggest challenge is to get a club to give BB instructor the club for a weekend. If you can talk to the club you belong and get them to let you have it...I would be more that happy to come out a teach it.

This!
It is the same at my club. Our BB instructor will book our range without issue but there must be a few students from our club. Once he has some names from our club, then he contacts other clubs to let them know he has some spots.

You can also contact the BB Coordinator and they can arrange for an instructor to come to your club to teach the course.

Eganville and District Sportsman's Club is looking to hold a BB Course this spring. Hopefully in May just have to get dates and get it set up. If anyone is interested in doing the BB Course at that club you can pm me. If the interest is there then we can hold it.
