Curious as to if anyone ones a legendary arms The Professional and what they think about it. Also anywhere in Canada that sells these rifles and would ship to Nova Scotia

I have a Professional in a 257 Wby, got it from Prophet River. I know he got some others in recently, but I'm not sure of calibers. Send him an email/PM, Clay is as good as it gets to deal with.

It's a nice rifle. I've only had it for a couple weeks and have only tried factory Weatherby 100 gr TSX and some reloads with 85 gr Nosler BT from my previous 257. Both were sub MOA, so I'm very happy with that.

The rifle has nice weight, not too heavy, not too light. With a Leupold 6.5-20x40 LR in Talley LW's it comes in at a hair over 8 lbs, so the bare rifle would be just under 7 lbs by my estimation. Fit and finish is on par with Kimber/Cooper. It's Cerakoted, which is done well. The action isn't as smooth yet as a polished SS or blued, but that's to be expected. The stock (High Tech Specialties) is one of my favorites in shape and design.

If there's one very minor annoyance, it's that it's somewhat front heavy, but I balanced it out with a 9 round ammo holder around the butt. It also has a 26 bbl, so again it's to be expected with a lightweight stock.
I haven't tried it with the brake on and have no intention to do so.

All in all, I really have nothing to complain about, which is pretty rare. I was looking for a somewhat lightweight 257 Wby with 26" barrel and this one is perfect for my needs.

I finely got mine and am very impressed with fit and finish just as nice as my custom rifles but half price I might keep the brake on this one it is a lite weight 300wby mag.I think they designed the closest thing to a perfect hunting rifle.

I've had mine for a while and so far its working out really well.
Its a Professional in 28 Nosler and workmanship and function are top notch....... hurry up hunting season !!

Looks like a nice rifle Bearkilr. When you get a chance and if it's not too much trouble, how about a shot of the thread protector?

Do some research on 24 hour campfire on the LAW's

There was some talk, complete with photos, re some bedding (and accuracy) issues.
Others were quite happy.

Apparently a few of the very first ones were not bedded. We've ha very positive responses to the relatively few we've sold. Biggest issue we've actually had has been getting delivery in a timely manner. :(

Nice choice.... I drink beer when it's cold too..... But when I travel for work, or want something different, 40 creek is the choice....

Anyways, I digress...... I am a Ruger fanboy admittedly.......

Just curious, what is the driver to buy a legendary pro vs a Ruger ultralight vs a kimber Adirondack vs a Forbes?.......

Again, not questioning anyone's purchase and I have paid "stupid" uppers to lose weight or get clearer glass etc... But what is the draw here?.....
