.22LR Tavor

Really? It's illegal? I had no idea. I know guys were stuffing 10/22s into airsoft G36 bodies before the Archangel kit came out.

Also a lot of people are using savage Mark IIs in Airsoft AI chassis.

Maybe with the Tavor its different because of the bullpup configuration?

Normal stock would be legal. Tavor body would be questionable

Depends on the body. If it was a bullpup, that would make it illegal. For a bullpup to be legal, the action has to be a part of the body. The firearm must not be able to function independent of the body.

Someone will come along with the more technical explanation, that that's the gist of it.

Basically, bullpup stocks are illegal. I think the intention with the legislation was to make bullpups illegal, but since the people who wrote the legislation (and their advisers too, apparently) had little technical knowledge of firearms, what we got are prohibited rifle stocks...
