I know they are plastic, specifically looking at the .223 10 round unit and wondering if they feed well, and if the plastic trigger housing affects accuracy due to not being able to torque it down as hard...

Put them on two of my VGII's - 5 round on my 243/synthetic stock and 5 round on my 7.08/sporter wood stock.

Notice "zero change" in POI from either rifle - and so far (about a year in) no feeding problems.

I'm trying to pull the trigger....$160 to my door basically for the kit and 1 mag, extra mags are $70....ugggh I dunno if it's worth it, still on the fence.

I thought I cold live with the internal floor plate - figured, no big deal. But after having to dump the rounds a few times the same day getting in/out of a vehicle it started to grind on me.

Don't even miss the cost of the kits now to convert to detachable mags but sure do appreciate just having to pop them out when heading in to town for lunch (or whatever) in the middle of a day out hunting. Probably the best "upgrade" I have ever done to a rifle...

Used to be able to get them from the states, sportsmandepot, for $120cad iirc, but that was with a dollar on par.

Slight derail... how is the rifle currently shooting, and what model?

Howa 1500 in .223, shoots great, the more I look at pics of the 10 round setup the more it looks too bulky. 5 round mags would probably be better.
I wish we could get these Pacific Tool guards that take AICS mags...

Have a 10 and 5 rounder set up in my S2 6.5 Crdmr. Absolutely love it. Can really let some lead fly on the yotes. Haven't had any feeding or accuracy issues.

I preferred the 5rd ones on my old 308. I initially ordered a 10rd one and realized it was too much.

Doesn't ptg ship to canada? I know I seen their rem700 ar15 mag well on cgn before. Right after it came out.
