I haven't tried it, but after watching this video...I might want to give it a try...Maybe some coyote burgers?

Might be alright but not high on my "want to" list. With the mange the yotes have in my area, not 100% sure it would be safe. Likely would be safe if cooked properly.
I would have to be awfully desperate to eat one.

The only time I would eat a dead coyote is if there was not one single duck or goose left in any of the farm fields around me.
Coyotes in the lowermainland are far from appetizing and the ones in the not in the not so wilds of Merritt are any better looking as table fare.
But, if someone wants to try ....

They eat dogs in china bro.

cats in Africa, horses in Eastern Europe, squirrels in the Adirondacks, raw seal in the far north, hamsters in South America, live octopus and sea ##### in Korea, prairie oysters... well, in the prairies, etc. Coyotes does seem to be that big of a deal when you put it into persective.

No but one was killing the farm cats and after I shot it, I fed it too the rest of the cats for the remainder of the winter. One frozen slice at a time.

They eat dogs in china bro.
And they eat them in Korea too, along with horse meat in France and spiders in Cambodia and Thailand in
Belgium muskrat was/ is considered fine table fare and on and on.

Those places have a huge population and the natural wildlife has been decimated and thus this is what they eat to survive.

Already been said I missed it, but if one ones to eat wild dog have at it and make sure you cook it till the internal temp is 150 defy and shut it down allow the meat to rest and check again and see if it reaches 160... It should as it will continue to cook and then start dropping.

Have some Fireball on hand to washer down with.

I'll continue to enjoy the bearded clam myself and leave the beaver to Cleftwynd.

Bon Appetite!
