I just picked up this Flambeau range bag + pistol case combo from CDN Tire for $69.99. From Princess Auto I picked up there small poly ammo can for $4.99. It fits inside the bag with room to spare for other items on top. Not a competition size bag. Just a good enough size for taking one or two handguns, ammo, eye, ear and basic extras to the range. End pockets on both ends. Large pocket on opposite side:

i use one of those shopping baskets from supertstore.lol, fits 3 pistol cases and my range box with all the ammo and ear protection stuff, and everything else i need for that trip

Nice pickup I like the hard cases from Boyt the best and the soft case from Basspro (Redhead) for everything else..
Aluminum Tool cases (Home depot & Reno, CTC) ) cases are good value and I use them for the rest.

This is the one I use:

It has a ton of storage, plus two removable pistol cleaning mats. All the zippers are lockable as well.

Any of the real Range Bags are too small. Seems the're all the same size. They need to be about 6 inches longer and 3 inches wider like the old John Shaw Shooting Bag of the 80s.

I use a Husky large tool bag on wheels like luggage from home depot for about $50

It seems like a very good bag. I considered this bag on wheels by Husky but decided to pass because I recall they were/are rabid antis as dictated by the owner.

I've been using the 5.11 patrol ready for a number of years now. Holds all my usual gear securely and handles the weight nicely. Combined with the maxpedition soft pistol case which I can fit 3 handguns in, it fits my bill perfectly.
I even skimmed a 556 round across the bottom when using it as a make shift rest and it still holds strong.

That would be my next purchase...

I use the old version Sig Sauer range bag that looks like this. It's simply fantastic. It has a great layout, I wouldn't change anything about it. Sig's new model of their range bag sucks, and there's not too many of these left around.

If I had to replace this bag, I'd probably get the 5.11 tactical range ready duffel

Best range bag I've ever owned, gave my old one away to a new shooter that was using a plastic grocery bag to hold his range stuff and I got another one that day

Quite possibly the only thing that the NFA ever did that was of use to me was sell a range bag on their web site's e-shop. I have no idea who made it as there were no labels but it's a voluminous bag with semi-firm walls, exterior pockets for small gear and straps for MOLLE attachments if that twirls your moustache. Fits all of my gear with ease and didn't cost too much money.

Since buying it I've never seen it on their web site again.

I got 2 Midway USA large range bags. One for me, one for wife. They hold a ton of stuff.

They don't ship to Canada, but if you can arrange it, they are a real bargain.

Got a 5.11 Dustin Ellerman qualifier range bag couple of years ago. I got place for all my gear in that. Really love it.
