Just wondering if you actually receive a specific turkey license(card) in Ontario after completing the course and exam. Did my course last spring and never received anything in the mail. So is it just in the system when I go to get a my tag(s) this spring or should I be making a call?

I did mind years ago when you had to take the full day course so keep that in mind. But I did the course and got a certificate that day and then when my outdoors card was due next it now has a T at the end of the number. I was two or three years before renewal and never had an issue getting the tag so I assume it must have been in the system.

Ah was just on the site(should have checked first) and it says you just present your attestation when picking up your tags so no worries. Never to early to plan a hunt and I've got an excellent property lined up with a healthy bird population.
When you renew your License. It will have a small T on your card to identify that you have received your turkey license.
It should be in the system by now so when you buy a turkey tag, they will check and see. It will not be a problem.

I did the course and test over 3 years ago renewed my outdoor card 2 years ago and no T on the card. i've purchased 3 tags since then and never had anybody ask for the certificate, it must be in there computer. I questioned the same thing when my new card showed up with no T.

As mentioned above, the process is still status quo - just received my renewed outdoors card (T stamped on it now) ..... had acquired Turkey licences over the past couple years based on info MNR has in the database.

Prior to opener, you may also wish to check if it is currently possible in QC to acquire the licence online.
