Not a fan of 1022s but this one is beautiful. Its Stainless with a beautiful wood stock. Never seen one like it. Not the carbine either. Stock has no ring on the end and is slightly longer than the carbine stock. Also have never seen nice wood on a 1022. This almost looks like Turkish walnut. The grain is large and well defined. I spotted the gun 5 years ago at a gun shop, new. I had just bought one of the crummy stainless with the black rubber stock. My buddy ended up buying it and now its mine. I never did shoot it but he claims its very accurate, unlike most 1022s, and he's an accuracy nut. Maybe tomorrow I can test his theory. Wish I could figure out how to post pics.
