Mini Rifle Match Woodstock Ontario. Jan 17th

Unfortunately, the host club didn't want any videos or pictures taken so everyone respected their wishes and turned the cameras off. However, if you've even seen an IPSC match then just use your imagination and replace the pistols with .22 rifles and you'll get the idea!

What he said, plus lasers and more teasing/ridiculing than a standard IPSC pistol match.
Good times had by all.

Side note, the massive compensator and tuned gas system I had on my rifle seemed to make enough of a difference to edge out the competition.

Picture a floor litttered with unfired 22LR...

So I haven't forgotten about this. I'd still love to give it a go. Care to list some rifles for me to look into to get into this?

ruger 10/22 were the main rifle used just make sure you have good working mags
then ar15 with 22 conversions were popular,
there was also issc mk22 and the stg44 these seamed to have a greater learning curve

I had one of the STG44's in my squad, using Mini Mags I had only one fail to feed. The high sight over bore was the biggest issue at short ranges.

It seemed like the 10/22 or a quality AR .22 upper or conversion is the way to go...
I used a Stg 44 and man... Gun shoots/functions great, but when used to an AR the Stg seems all ass backwards Lol...

We will have a shotgun/rifle match near the end of May or start of June. Trying to hammer out the details. Should have a solid date in a week or so. Couple other matches on the books later in the summer. Next winter we may do a series of 4 mini rifle matches. I'll post dates as soon as I get approval.
