just saw this video on federal's new for 2016 ammo. the one im interested in is the syntec pistol bullets. hmmmm if only there was a way to make red tipped lead bullets for cheep.

Im guessing their coating process is a little bit more expensive than a plastic tub you use in you garage

Yes but once they have the process figured out imsure they can crank out bullets pretty durn cheep.

Add a little Teflon in the PC and you have a proprietary mix that you can charge 100% more for it, then you can reduce the powder charge in each and gain even more profits.

Just another indication that the time and "very small" expense to get set up for powder coating is going to be worth the effort for me.

What powder are you using? That's much better looking than the stuff I've tried from powder365.ca.

I think it's Tiger brand. I bought some from a powder coat shop do I don't have any more information than that.
