NEW (to me) Keymod XCR in 5.56... Mod advice needed

It's me, I'm back again with my 3rd new gun in less than a week. Hopefully I got it right this time.

So I want to make this a coyote gun and do what I mistakenly tried to do with the Tavor. I'm going to be shooting off the bench a bit, I did realize, so I want a high power scope and good bipod.

Any suggestions? I probably only have $500-600 budget for optics and would prefer tac turrets. It's not going to be a run and gun system so no need for red dots or anything like that. Any advice? Lastly, is there a reason some bipods cost $400? Weight? Can't I get away spending $100 or less on that part? Optics I understand you get what you pay for.

For your needs, id personally just go economic in the glass department, scopes like Vortex, Nikon, Redfield are all very economic and some offer models with .223 specific reticles.

If your looking for just a simple bipod to brace your rifle with to shoot off the table at the range, id suggest the UTG deluxe folding bipod = like 39 bucks ( i think) lol. Nutnfancy on youtube speaks highly of it, ive bought two, they come equipped for picatinny rails out of the box, but also in the box is a swivel stud mount as well. Ive beat them around a far bit now, they definitely pass the "good enough" test.

When you do get it scoped, be sure to post your groupings! interested.

That sounds good to me. I'll look those up. It'll mostly be benching at the range (I really am not that into the cqb stuff, when I do get into it I'll buy an AR), and the odd trip to the bush.
 
Look into Sightron for scopes as well, Jerry from Mystic Precision speaks highly of them and they are relatively economical. For a bipod, I've got a Harris bipod and it's great and in the $100ish category.

Don't believe in everything the marketing departments say.
I have UTG bipod $75, UTG rings $35 and UTG 4-16X50 illuminated scope $350 on my keymod M heavy barrel.
Been through over 10k rounds.
Not a single problem.

Perfect, thanks you guys. Very helpful. Keeps me on point. I'm guessing I still have to get a keymod picatinney rail. Saw some keymod direct foregrips, but no bipods.
