Best place to buy .22 in bulk?

Just got a Ruger 22/45 and am looking to get some bulk ammo for it. Where's the cheapest place?

.45-70 cases are not very long (unless you only shoot rimfire and handgun cartridges.) .45-110 maybe?

Really not sure. Case was wider and longer than a .308 and case was straight except for the rim

Probably a .45-70 then. It's a wee bit longer than a .308 case. When you said long I was thinking looooong. The .45-110 case looks similar to a .450 Nitro Express case. As an example I used to own a .450 NE:

I just bought 3000 mini mags at Bass Pro in Niagara last weekend. I could of bought more but I felt guilty buying that many. Just solid points at $9.99 per 100. There were some HP but no Green Tags.

Buy them. They are one of the most accurate rounds I have put through my revolver, also you would have a hard time finding a better deal. I wish I could get my hands on more. 1000 rounds go quick.

I've got more .22 ammo but can't ever have enough and buy it whenever I see a good price.

Was in Walmart the other day and bought a few boxes of bulk 333 packs for $16 each. Was in there last night and they jacked the price to $22. Didn't think they'd increase the price.. But they did.

Each 22 firearm is particular. It may work wonders on the cheap stuff. My 22/45 loves American Eagle. Go figure. Try it out.
