I was surprised no one covered this, not even the Canadian distributor...
S&B announced two new polar scopes with over 96% light transmission, a new PMII Ultra Bright scope line( over 96% transmission), A digital display PMII and a new 5-45x56 PMII ..
They are now listed on S&B website...

Probably because no one in Canada will be able to afford them.

Kidding aside, had a good look at the new PMII's and was a bit underwhelmed. I liked the look and size of the new 3-12 Ultra-Bright but I don't get why they would bother re-inventing/re-packaging a 4x erector scope when they can produce erector assemblies up to 9x? Especially when it will be priced north of $5k (iirc).

North of $5K for a 4x scope is ridiculous.

S&B also seem to be spec'ing the new scopes with the low profile DT/MTC turrets like on the Ultra-Shorts. These "high speed" style turrets are far less distinct and positive feeling due to how close the 1/10 mil graduations are. Add the MTC feature which is too stiff to overcome without skipping a tenth or two and you have a turret system that is pretty lack luster, at least in feel.

IMO the original DT drums are S&B's best turret hands down.
