We are on green land far enough out of town, but this guy gets annoying. To the point of "registering" shots fired and what day. I'll probably be half way shooting my video and he will show up ruining my run. lol.

Waiting on a reg cert for a "problem child" handgun I purchased.


That and hopefully we will see some warmer weather.

Had the Chinese sks warmed up last weekend :)

Man that thing is snappy compared to my Russian that has about 10000 rounds thru it
 
damn...i don't know if I'm going to be able to do the challenge now....im in the middle of moving into my house and my job is taking up time with OT hours, but ill do my best.
 
well, 3 of us CGN'ers went out this morning to give this a go.
im not gonna lie, we did horrible!

ill be the first to admit ive never shot a gun kneeling or sitting on or prone so that was a big learning curve!
i decided to do it without gloves so i could feel the gun better and that was such a bad idea..... when i dove prone my hands got covered and then i was done in for.

definitely had a tonne of fun doing this but wow are my eyes getting old!
we need to do a "Cabin Fever Old Man Edition" and do it out to 50 because with the open sites i was not hitting much of anything other then snow!

i had to promise the other 2 guys we would not put the video's up because we all did so bad, haha!
im gonna do this again in the summer to see if it was just the cold and the snow or if its just us not ever trying the different positions to shoot from.

damn fun event!

2. kneeling

4. sitting

Well Gunnerlove said he was going to shoot it....so I just had to then.

Three attempts, this was the last and best one (time and score)

Class two (not 2nd class). Diemaco SA20 with Elcan 3.0B. Handloads that I had kicking around looking for a reason to get used.

19 hits, 67 seconds = 142 points

I started ...but I broke the rules..I started at 140 yards :p
We ended up setting up on a spot we generally don't shoot just to get the 100 yards

Sorry I had to take off early! I'm looking forward to seeing how you guys did after I left. This fun little competition really showed me how much I need to practice my position shooting.
