At our Chili match we specifically allow camo since most people's cold weather gear is usually their hunting clothes or some form of Multicam/treebark/realtree
 
So true Pat. i can't think of the number of matches i have been at when the rain has started and people's rain gear come out and it is camo as it is their hunting clothes. Fortunately the press is not to be found outside in the rain :}

Long gone are the days where the original concern came from. People aren't showing up trying to look like Rambo or whatnot, which was an issue in some countries due to the overall nannystate pansyness of their governments. The rule is really not a big deal. Actually I would say that is the worst possible answer in the world. If one is not easliy able to articulate the reason behind a particular rule then it is evidence that the rule might not be logical at all and should be reconsidered. Blind obedience to rules for rules sake is folly in the long run. Well unless you are a lemming.

The worst possible answer? What about "because it will make you blind"? I am sure you and your imaginary sword could come up with at least a few more "worstest" answers. I can't believe this thread isn't closed already. Talk about beating a dead horse.
