Whats with the Mossberg 715 price?!

Was browsing around and seen that the adjustable flattop mossberg now costs you 400$?? What do you guys think caused this? I remember afew months ago they were under 300$. I love mine and I find it fits me more then the 10/22 at 400+ tax i dunno.

Some shops price gouge. When they have to buy new stuff, with out dollar dropping 85 cents down to 68.
They pay more.
However it dropped 20%
Going from $300 to $400 is more than 20%
 
Mossberg prices just went up a week or so ago, dollar sucks so almost everything coming from the states will have a price increase. Mossbergs were hit really hard though.
 
I expect to see a lot of these threads in the not-too-distant future. When US MSRP's rise while the CAD simultaneously tanks against the USD, prepare for the reality of 30-40% price increases over what we "used" to pay.
 
The price is not just ridiculous on the 715 now, it's obscene. Gross. Insulting. Any other superlatives I can use....? And let's not touch the magazine argument!
I bought mine when they were on sale at $225-flat top and adjustable. Awesome and super fun gun at that price range, but now it's in the middle weight category and should be tapping out quickish.
We should do Mossberg a favour and not touch these new ones. Too bad the 597 vtr was stopped. Great rifle and at a price point between the tacticool spectrum.
 
Sold mine for 210 a month back.
guessing i should have asked more ahahah. Got my stg 22 now though so im a happy lad either way.
 
I like the flat top but at the new price I may aswell sell and throw down 250$ for a STG.... Also, The flush 10 round mags are awesome. I like un-cumbersome mags that are easy to rest and fit in my pocket. I just wish they were around 19$ not 29$.

I wonder if the price is leveled out or if it's going to rise.. Not sure if I should pull the pin on one or not.
 
i got the carry handle model with adjustable stock from the ee for 2ish....expecting nothing about 3 months ago
i was pleasantly surprised ,,real fun to shoot no jam issues everyone spoke of
had my tacticool itch scratched from the bargain bin,very happy with it...but yes tear down suxx
