Mil-surp 10-22 ?

I was in a local gun shop today which had a fair number of what they labeled War Surplus 10-22s. They certainly looked as if they had been through a war, to say they were rough would be an understatement. The shop was pretty busy and I wasn't able to get any details about where they came from. Does anyone have any details about " War Surplus 10-22s"
 
I've slayed many a squirrel with several 10/22s in my ongoing campaign to rid my property of the vermin !

All kidding aside doesn't sound like there is such a thing as a milsurp 10/22!
Would be awesome if there was ....
 
Interesting. Went and googled that they certainly do use 10-22s but they all seem to be surpressed except a couple pics of a tactical looking sr-22
 
These were plain, wood stock, open sights ( at least the ones that the sights were not broken off of). I think they were $239 or 2 for $399 and all were WELL used. No signs of any supressors though and no SR22.
