I need 1000 rounds for my Black Badge course and an IPSC qualifier. Who's got the best deal including shipping? Unfortunately I'm on a tight budget having just moved twice in the last three weeks. Going to have to go for quantity over quality at this time. So long as it goes bang when I squeeze the trigger.

At this time
Steel - 43c + per round (tulaammo 40c per round but often out of stock)
Brass - 50c + per round

Try these:
- dominionoutdoors.ca
- ammosupply.ca
- reliablegun.com

Despite the debate steel case is fine, it's softer than the barrel so won't hurt the firearm.

I wanted a quantity, just to shoot and for the resulting brass for reloads.Got my supply from a site sponsor, Henry at Budget Shooter Supply. Good guy to deal with. Give him a shout.

Under 'centerfire pistole ammo' site shows; 'No items at this time'

Thoughts on reloaded ammo? There's Wolf from SFRC, Wasp from ammosupply.ca and Custom Reloading Service also comes highly recommended. Still, with tax and shipping the savings are not that great.

I recently bought 3000rnds of 9mm and 250rnds of .45 wolf ammo. I've only gone through 300 rounds of 9mm and I'm getting a lot of light primer strikes. About 3-4 for every 50 rounds. Interestingly enough, my glock with the light firing pin spring only suffered about 2 light primer strikes. My stock sig p226 and fns 9L suffered the most. Ymmv.

I've never had an issue with the Wolf .45 or .38 spl. I have no experience with their 9mm as Tradex sells the Centaure 9mm for about the same price but with free shipping on case lots. (Wish Centaure would reload .45)

I've had good results using Wolf reloads in both 45ACP and 9mm FMJ (thru my semi-autos) from SFRC.
However, the occasional SWC 45ACP casing was bulged enough to not fit the cylinders of my PC625 revolver….

i've shot almost 2000 rounds of wolf 45acp, and 1000 wolf 9mm, both TMJ and not one issue.
just bought a case of 147g 9mm from wolf, and looking forward to giving it a try
