I was just at Hi-Cal. Had a nice Mosin in my hands. #s matching brute. $239. Had to put up a good internal struggle to not buy it. I just went in for some SKS trinkets! Like a big kid candy store in there.

Oh I like it! Just not quite ready to buy yet. Still in the "research" phase.

If you want historical fun go with the Mosin or K31 or Mauser. But you want super accurate and shoot a rifle something that looks similar to a swat team sniper get a savage 110 BA or if you want modern super cool get a ruger Precision rifle.

My SKS shoots one hole groups every shot.

... only if ya put 1 shot on each target, but then you can't call them groups as to be a group requires more than one to be shot at each target... or something like that... there ya go makin me head hurt...

You should try getting into the SKS, like I did, back when you could buy them by the crate. LOL
