Been looking for one for ages, Finally found one. I wanted a 9mm and missed out on one. The guy was asking 650$. I wanted one but not really wanting one, if you know what I mean. I was thinking around 450 for a good condition one. Guy was like not doing me any good so got yourself a deal.

The story is the guy bought it unfired 23 years ago and only put 2 mags thru it. 2 Mags and Original Holster :D In tones of Consmo... I'm going to have fun rubbing it all in my beard.

This gun always has a character. I have one in pristine condition with the full service kit.
Congratulations of your new purchase.

Amazing find. Definitely my fav 7.62x25. You need to shoot it at least once or so but I'd shoot it sparingly. I would think that is quite a collector in that condition.

I just always liked the looks of them. I wanted to find more of a shooter hence the 9mm ( also easier to find ammo ) so I wasn't really interested in a mint one. I told him I was looking for more of a 450-500 shooter grade. I sparked up when he said sure that amount is fine.

I cannot shoot steel core so I wouldn't be shooting it much. I need to find commercial non steel core non corrosive. Its something different that I can give to my kids.

hope you enjoy shooting it more then I do. One of my least favorite semi autos. Neat history and neat actions set up, and well made. Mine stays as a place holder in my collection...hasn't been shot in years.

I bought it because liked the looks and always wanted one for awhile. Its more for collecting since I got plenty of shooting guns.

I finally got it in the mail. My heart kinda sunk when I noticed the muzzle was oozing red cosmo. So I stripped it down and noticed some primer sealant on the breach face. Guy claimed was bough unfired and only put 2 mags thru 23 years ago.But looking at it and it was in Excellent condition.

But I was upset once I cleaned the barrel and noticed this.

No amount of scrubbing and what I used could fix that. So I had a 30cal bore brush that has steel wool woven on it, so dipped that in penetrating oil and started to scrub. Added more when it started to compact more and less resistance.

Than I was able to see this. Its almost perfect now.
