lee mold

I'm looking for a lee 309 mold. 230gr bullet. Does anyone know where I can find this? On a side note if anyone has it and wouldn't mind if I used it I would really appreciate it.

I bought one at a gun show . TL309-230-5R. I understand they are for the 300 blackout. I don't have this calibre but cast for lots of other 30 cal so bought it to try. Mold worked better after it got really hot. Had to throw back more than normal in to casting pot.

Epps doesn't have a very good selection of molds. They have a few 2 cavity molds but no 6 cavity molds.

Titan sells on eBay as well. I've found a few decent prices. Shipping is high sometimes. Rusty wood is a lee dealer and should be able to get what you need. I haven't dealt with them personally, but they responded quickly to an inquiry of mine with a competitive price and a reasonable timeline to order from lee.

I've wondered how this might work in my 308 at supersonic speeds.

They have a boat tail base which is pretty much useless on cast bullets. They are not a very good choice for supersonic loads and mediocre at subsonic. NOE makes a full diameter flat base version in either plain base or gas check and is far superior. Somewhat related, I have a NOE 311-247 Whisper mold and the gas checked bullets shoot great out of my 30-06 at about 1900fps (estimated). I load them over 35gr of H4895 and lube them with 666-1 (Satan's lube). Smacks steel really hard!
