I took my XCR into Liquid Custom here in Edmonton.

It's not often that you walk away from something with Zero buyers remorse. But DAMN! Bobby Produces some great end state pieces and his work ethic is right headed. I will definitely be taking my XCR mini in for the same work over.

I have no hesitation to recommend him. Now to redo all my loc-tite. Bwahahaha

Ok. Enough bull#### from me. Sorry for anyone who has tender feelings about a light running joke. Enjoy some XCR pr0n...

Very durable after curing.

He has a video someplace where they take an abrasive pad to the finish. I've scoured the net to find pics of a Multicam XCR. Couldn't picture exactly how it might come out...

Took a leap and I'm glad I did. Very happy with results...

It's pretty durable...

It's not ceracote. But it isn't going to wipe off like Krylon either. One caveat. You need to allow it time to cure.

Mine will sit in safe for 2 weeks before its first run

As a side note:

Another board member (MysticPrecision) has his gat in for tarting up too...

Don't be shy to mention to Bobby you came from CGN.

Looks good. May I ask how much? I do Hydrographics as well. I don't like how he rolled your barrel with the seam on top but I probably only see it cause i do it. Otherwise nice!
Oh and for durability. Like Car paint. The better quality pain't you use the stronger it is. I use all 2 part epoxy paints. Strongest stuff there is.

I'm jealous.
How much was the damage?
Too bad I'm not in Edmonton.

About $350 for the rifle (lots of parts plus stripping off krylon). Another $200 for other parts (laser, scope, scope mount). Every rifle will be different so you need to get quote. If I recall, typical AR is about $250 to have dipped.

I have another rifle (this one's sister) to get done. And then possibly a spotting scope after that. Spreading cost of a few pre-season modifications over the last winter months. Build another barrier. Put together a few more range training aids. Try not to bite my tongue off while I wait for spring to hit...

Damn. #SteelWaiting
