Please post about your experience with this rifle:
round count, precision, mag compatibility, global wear, global reliability, the more specific, the better. Thanks.

I am more of a technology geek than a pretend "operator", so I wont comment on the tactical aspect.

I bought one, still enjoy it, still have it.
It does not have a huge round, so it is early to comment on long term issues.
Reliable so far.

Not a single issue with mine, but round count is low. As for precision last time I was out I was hitting beer bottle consistently at 50-75yards, with the iron sights. Although many are complaining about the front sight post design. My T97 likes metal mags and gen 2 magpuls and drop freely. Gen 3 magpuls and Beowulf mags are very tight and because of that I haven't used them.

I have feeding issues, where the round get jammed as it's get stripped from the mag and the bullet jams back into the case. Anyone have a fix for this?

Have shot 5 or 6 of them and owned at least 3. Have seen infrequent feeding issues with ALL of them. Not a big deal if you are hitting the gravel pit now and then, a huge pain in the "you know where" if you are doing 3 gun or something more serious. (lovingly pats his Tavor;))

Same problem on mine. I did the mod, and never a repeat. See here:

I'm trying to get the same reliability out of the T97 as my AR. My son gets the AR for CQB shoots, and I have to make do with the T97. Now I just need a shell deflector and better mag release!

mine was ok for awhile now it has constant feed issues .pushing bullet back in case .i have tried several mags etc. not sure what the fix is.

I have a good 400 rounds through mine. Have the ftu on it with a vortex x3 prism sight. Have tried to love this gun but just don't. Going to sell. Need another 5.56 stanag setup. Leaning towards a vz in 556

As far as performance. Factory mag flawless, lar 15's flawless, pcv 50's horrible (every other round bullet jams into cartridge)

I have about 2000 true mine and after the first 50'or so no issues. Only real issue is that the brass gets messed up badly on ejection.

great gun but north sylva dropped ball on a defect repair. I do not recommend getting it because it is a hit or miss.

I love mine. Had some issues with pushed in bullets when I first bought it but it hasn't happened since then (year and a half ago) and I noticed it only happened with .223. I'm about 6-700 rounds in if I had to guess.

Shot two of them that came into the shop for repairs. Both had the usual feeding issue where the round misses the chamber, the bullet gets pushed into the case and powder gets spilled into the mechanism. One had the occasional multiple burst with a squeeze of the trigger and the other, an out of the box T-97 FTU model exhibited very frequent multiple shot bursts. The firing of a typical five round mag would yield anything from a two to five round burst, singles, misfeeds, jams or empty chambers. This one was sent back to North Sylva and I havent heard back from the customer yet. Accuracy was so-so.

Uh oh.. time for an RCMP ban... it can become a "full auto child killer".

But to the OP, I had the same feeding issues everyone else is talking about. Tried multiple mags, different ammo (both 556 and 223) and still had the issue. Nutted up and got a Tavor. My T97 now collects dust in my gun safe.

i have to say i would recommend this gun to anyone and everyone. the gun is a bit picky on mags yes, the sights are horrible absolutely! but i have over 5000 rounds shot out of mine and i have yet to have a failure!!!
