limited edition Ruger mkiii's let's see some pics

I have found that for 35$ the VQ sear and sear spring (they come together) are the best addition to making a nice trigger pull somewhere around 2.5pounds. other then the hammer bushing it was the best addition I feel I made. Keep your stock trigger and just try the Volquartsen sear (and spring).

Mine was about 60$ ( victory flat faced trigger ) and about 5mins to install

I viewed the install instructions and it seems that the MKIII trigger guard is smaller than the 22/45, did this pose a problem for your finger ..they mentioned this for bigger fingers there may not be enough clearnace...

That's more like it .. what was the pull after the change ? no creep etc pull weight ?

I don't have a trigger scale. I can adjust it if I want creep or not ( I got it set for some ) Its much better then stock.

Does your trigger finger clear with space to spare?

Sorry I forgot the MKIII had a slightly smaller trigger guard. So your probably right fat fingers wouldnt fit.

Decided to try another set of grips on my MKIII. These are the same thickness as the stock grips for this new style and my initial impression is that it feels smaller in my hand. These may be for sale soon after their first range visit.

I've owned slab-sides, bull barrels and standards(my current), but never owned a Hunter….love the fluted barrel but the sights….not so much for "looks".
Nice grips guys!

If you don't like the front FO sight on a Hunter, I have heard of people swapping them out for traditional target sight. Personally, I like the FO sight in conjunction with the William's rear FO sight.

I'm seriously looking at acquiring one of these but probably have to sit down and wait for a nice used one at a decent price..

Anyone use a Target grip like a Hogue on these and did it help the ergos's of the gun.

I'm saving my pennies for a hunter. I currently have a blued target. I have hogue finger groove grips and they drastically improve the feel. Mine don't have the thumb rest though. I'd like to try the volquartsen "volthane" grips they look good or their laminate target grips $$$$$

Where would you source these grips in Canada ?

Try contacting Sylvestre Sports in Alberta. They are the VQ importer and also a sponsor here on the forum. I like target grips, but I bought this gun to participate in a few different pistol shoots and one of those shoots requires using both individual hands in the off-hand portion and therefore target grips are impracticable.
