Has anyone here ordered supplies from Higgonson powders.

From what I gather they are a solid outfit to deal with. Just wanting some reviews before I spend my money.

Higginsons is great. Have ordered enough powder and primers from there over the years to outfit the Boxer rebellion. No problems, ever.
 
I have been dealing with Higginson's, since the early-1980's. For a variety of products. In my view, this company is very reputable.
 
I've made or been part of 3 small group orders because shipping is a nightmare up here and they've been good to deal with. Not as friendly as other people but certainly not cold people either.

I would gladly recommend higginson
 
I have ordered bullets and Lee stuff from them. They were always pleasant to deal with and occasionally the price was less than originally anticipated.

I can just never justify buying powder from them. The shipping/hazmat always makes buying local more economical. Never could get past 20# of powder to get free shipping (you still pay hazmat). One day.....*fingers crossed*
 
I have been dealing with this company since it was known as Xelex Explosives. [1950's]

As a youth, I bought thousands and thousands of rounds of 22 rimfire ammo from them @ 59 cents/100.

Later known as Ammomart, then to the present name, Higginson's. They have always
been great to deal with. Thomas, who is gone now, used to offer some very attractive deals, particularly if he knew you.

I once bought 50# of one lot of a very popular surplus powder from him for $8.00/lb, when it was going for about $14.50/lb, regularly.

It is advantageous for several buyers to get their heads together and make up an order to get the free shipping option.

They are a 15 minutes drive from the farm, i call in my order and i drop by to pickup my order, nice peoples... JP.
 
Just bought a pair of lee .223 decapping pins (EZ-Xpander). It seems they take orders via email and phone calls but no web orders. I'm still waiting for my order to come in (was mailed early last week), should be here this week.

Responsive via email and phone calls.
