2 nice origonal road Warriors Finished

A front bead sight on a pistol length shot gun ?......LOL do you think it would help. Short range scatter gun. The goal is to kinda make them look like pirate pistols.
The blue does not show up in camera pictures but it does in the sun light. Its very subtle, but it makes a difference.
Hope this answers your questions.

I can see where you'd choose to leave a bead off for the look.
Truth is those guns are not pistol length and have long barrels well suited for a pedestal and bead. A person could even get a spare butt stock and have the option of using either the birds head or full stock.

As I said earlier the finish on the wood looks a bit smoother then ideal in the grip area for firing slugs with good control, but if a person can get a good grip on the gun and hold it strongly using a push pull technique, there is no reason why a person couldn't take advantage of a bead for more accurate shots at 50-100yards.

Bottom line is your guns look great, and they'd still look great(and shoot better) with a bead sight and some checkering or stippling of the grip areas...... :)

Even the forend profile could be helped with more of a "schnabel" shape to help hold the hand from shifting forward as the shooter pushes with the front hand to create tension against the rear hands pull.
Purely practical suggestions for actual use.... but if they could be done to look nice as well..... Win-win. :)
