Hello everyone,
I will have some Russian SKS rifles modified to accept AK magazine in stock in about 2 weeks.
SKS-KD model they are made by Kodiak Defence (Canadian Company).
It is Russian SKS that has been modified to accept Kalashnikov Mag .
It comes with:
1.Russian SKS Rifle
2. ATI Strike Force Stock, new model , not to be confused with old one.
3. AK mag (Israeli made)
4. Kodiak Defence Top Rail
5. Barrels are threaded to accept CZ 858 muzzle.

Oh god no, don't start that. There is already a thread in full swing debating the merits in the name SKS-D being "every sks that takes AK mags" vs "SKS-D being a specific model of Chinese commercial SKS that accepts AK mags out of a wide variety of different SKS types that accept AK mags".

SKS-KD is better.

All SKS-D accept AK mags, but not all SKS that accept AK mags are SKS-D models.

Already looking for it my friends, will tell you as soon as I secure some.
My only problem is word "affordable". Will tell you more after March 8, who can guess why? ;)
I got original Polish or Hungarian offered to me ... I cannot put affordable next to price.

What is March 8?
Further devaluation of the dollar or liberal firearms nonsense? (Applies gear clamp to hold tinfoil hat on tighter)
 
I kind of wish the front sight and bayonet lug were chopped off. An SKS with reliable after market magazines is a wonderful thing though.
 
I would also like to know a lot more about that rail, and whether removing it and reattaching it the optic holds zero.
