Very interesting, learned a lot from that! I seem to remember reading a newspaper article last year in the Yukon News, to the effect that
there was an open season on grizzly bears, including shooting them near highways. Am I dreaming?![]()
Where is WhyNot? - he is the guy to talk about eating grizzly. He told me a root and berry bear is mighty fine eating. He even makes bear bacon.

Both bears have a change in diet through out the year, although the grizzlies will also eat the black bears. We can't hunt grizzlies in Alberta even though we have them on the property, often in our driveway.
There was no talk about finely cut - well harvested was said.
