Benelli Choke Tubes Won't Stay Tight

Any other Benelli owner run across this issue. I have a Nova that sees regular trap duty, the choke tube won't stay in tight have to tighten it every second or third round. Doesn't backoff much mind you, 1/4 to 1/2 a turn, but it always loosens slightly.

This isn't unusual among Benelli and Beretta guns particularly when using extended chokes. I've found using a little Briley choke tube grease helps keep them seated a little longer.

Not much help with a benelli but have had the problem on other makes.
Anti seize and tighten with the wrench solved some. Seems the locktite allows a bit more tightening to take place, others had to go to plumbers teflon tape which is not a big deal as one may think for cleaning it off on choke removal and one actually was so bad had to use that locktite product forget the number 222 or something like that but it was the weakest solution and removable for fine threads

Sort of surprised me, this is my 4th shotgun with screw-in chokes, but it's the only one that does this. These are the flush mount factory Mobil chokes.

They are the ones the least likely to back out and if they do they don't back out all that much. The extended Optima chokes are the worst for it in my experience sometimes coming out a full turn or more.

Funny but I have heard the opposite from users many so bad they change them to Muller and the problem goes away for some reason. Agree they don't back out much but are always loose

It could be just luck of the draw. I've owned 3 guns with Mobile chokes and two with extended Optima. It seems like I'm always hand tightening the Optima between stations but not so much when I had the Mobile chokes. My most recent gun has Optima HP and they remain seated better than the other types.

Could be. Google it for giggles and there is also a lot of guys complaining there about this also
IMO I think it has something to do with the material they are made out of example some being finished in bright stainless vs matte bead blast but I really don't know.
