.380 auto

Finding bullets can be a problem. Lots of people make them, but not many stores seem to carry them. I've been using plated bullets,( I absolutely despise lead bullets). When you find them, buy enough to last a while. I haven't got around to getting XTP's yet, no one local carries them and I don't shoot .380 all that much so it's not an issue, and the plated bullets work great

I would suggest you test fire a 380 before you buy one. They are surprisingly snappy little guns and can be somewhat unpleasant to shoot.

I agree, have two of them, one is a Beretta 1934 (12.6),nasty slide bite, the other one is a Browning 1922 with a grip safety that needs to be squeezed so hard that it is tough to get a good aim.

I have a Browning BDA Doublestack which is just a dream to shoot. I have just decided recently to start shooting it more, because it isn't eligible for 12/7. Reloading is really the only option since loaded rounds cost more than 9mm. If you are just shooting it occasionally I would just buy factory

I have a small, blowback AMT Backup. After hearing all the internet stories about how unpleasant the recoil is I was shocked at how mild and fun it is to shoot.

Shoot a fullhouse .357 from a snubby or even worse full house .454 Casull from any double action revolver if you want to feel unpleasant recoil.
