Cheap non corrosive X39 lead cores?

What would be the current source for the cheapest non corrosive lead cores of 7.62x39? Range doesn't want steel cores ringing their gongs.

I'm currently getting non corrosive steel cores for $0.21 per round. I realize lead cores will likely be more expensive. I don't care if they are berdan, steel cased, or bimetallic jacket. Would Barnaul fit the bill?
 
Hornady is another option. Steel case with SSTs. SFRC has them but they are more pricey than Barnaul or MFS.
 
I called international shooting supplies in Surrey and they have Barnaul at$9.99 for a box of 20. They said they're not sure if it is lead core, though.

It does have a copper plated steel jacket that will hold a magnet. But that doesn't necessarily mean that it carries the solid steel core at its centre. What I currently have has a copper plated steel jacket, followed by a layer of soft lead, which is followed by a solid steel centre core.

The rules say no steel core, but they don't mention anything about a steel jacket.

Alright, my range says no bi-metal jackets or steel, period. If a magnet sticks to it, it's a no-go so I cant use the Barnaul there. Instead they have suggested I buy their Dominion x39 and claimed it doesn't stick to a magnet therefore making it safe for their range use, but I have not personally tried it to confirm that.
 
Better solution would be to venture out of the city and find some crown land to have actual fun on with a crate of FMJ.
 
All new production commercial offerings (with the exception of Norinco '14 production copperwashed) is lead core. A magnet sticks because it's a copper plated mild steel jacket.

I hear you. I actually have a couple of spots. I even built me a nice portable shooting bench. But I think I've been bitten by the tacticool bug. I've been around guns all my life and it's always been in a Fuddy context. I started shooting about 35 years ago, but it was only until last year that I ever got to shoot a pistol grip long gun after I installed a Blackfeather on my M305.
So I figured it might be fun to learn something new and get into organized TAC shoots.

CGN should put in a [Thank You] button as well as a [Like]. Thanks to everybody that contributed to diminish my ignorance a little bit more today.
