I have $2500 to throw away --- what would you spend it on, NOW ?

Mining and natural resource sector is at a low low right now.

Do some research and see what companies are growing, expanding and exploring.

Give it a few years , you won't be throwing the $2500.00 away, maybe you can get something REAL nice down the road.

THE best advice I've seen in a long time on this board. Hats off to you sir.
I'm averaging down very nicely on Paramount Resources right now!

I need to know if I am missing out on something actually worth $2500. It doesn't seem to get you much these days.

(tax return:) )

Hard to answer without knowing what you have and what you want?

Here is my list if I found 2500 dollars in my suit pants: ... in no particular order I may add...

CZ 455 Lux
Benchmade Hunt "Crooked River"
More Ammo
New Ping Pong Table (My 100 dollar wal-mart special is beyond warn out)
Benchmade 581

Put the $2500 in the bank (your old sock) and hang onto it incase you have to pay next year or are reassessed and find out they gave you to much.
It has and can happen!!!!

Well Kurgan & All: I've reached that point in life where as far as guns are concerned I've pretty much "picked" up all I would ever need.
Having said that I still don't want to give up the game, so I decided to collect the various single shot rifles from the dim past if the $ are OK.
I am particularly interested in the actions so something cut down is fine with me. My latest purchase was a Nepalese Snider in really great shape,
still full military. I would like to pick up a Trap-door Springfield next, they are quite scarce.

Any way you get my drift --- MHO-FWIW --- John

Guys don't come to CGN to hear answers like; mortgage payments, RRSP's, family vacation, 25 pairs of shoes, 500 roses... or even 10 Savage Axis'...

Are you bunch of enablers depressed???
