Hi my apologies for jumping in the thread, nice rifle. I have a quick question are Steyr SSG 04 A1 .308 (10 round mag) available in Canada. What would suggested retail be? Or can they be imported if purchased in the US? Looking to purchase a Steyr love them, also considering a SSG P1 but the exchange puts it at $2500 CAD with import. If this post is not relevant don't mind deleting it

Thanks

$4090. If you order it now I'm sure it can be put into the same shipment as mine.

I've shot the SSG69. Love the history but it's fairly dated in terms of its setup & features.

It can be tough to find metric muzzle brakes on this side of the pond. I literally just got an email from Ken at Witt Machine & Tool and he said that he could thread one of their .30 cal MRE brakes for M18x1.
I have one on my Ruger Precision and I'm ordering one for my Tikka T3 Sportsman as we speak. They are that effective.
A couple guys I shoot with said the .308 feels more like a .223 with the MRE brake installed.
Just throwing it out there for you.

I am still a fan of the 69 green, but the new models just seem way overpriced. That commercial though is going to amp up all the trailer park snipers.
