Jezzus that stock looks like it did go through WW2! the two things I do not like about the gsg is the magazine and the rear sight.

yep i hate the mag... but with my paint job on it it look more real....
it is the only way to own a stg44 in canada ... i tried to customize it to look like a real ww2 stg44

anyone have a idea how i can erase all these brand marking all around the gun ? will keep the serial number + made in germany but would like to erase other marking like »: read the manual before use lol

????

the original ww2 sling is in the mail

dont understand your comment.... ?

I used a blueing pen on it and it made the letters from super white to a darker colour, far less noticeable but I am also still looking for more ways to remove them. They are just awful looking.

do you have a pic of the letter with the bluing pen ? on your gun
when i will be able to remove all this ugly lettering i will start to remove blueing at some place to relic the gun

That's one serious overkill on a stock job :) WW2 group that I'm part of probably has more than 100 firearms from that era. All in original condition. I'm not even talking about ones artificially aged to copy stuff from period photographs. I'm yet to see one with wood damaged that much. In all honesty, I'd wait for a x39 version and age that one instead of a .22.
