Ordered some Hornady from Brownells, somehow they got sent to the UK never to be seen again.
I checked all my favorite Canada shops and no go. Hornady or RCBS would be fine, FL and seater is all I need.

If no luck there, call Clay @ Prohet River. Or call Grouse River directly. Both are excellent top notch service. I would be very very surprised if Clay didn't have a set in stock.

Cabelas edmonton north has 257wby rcbs
I think I got the last RCBS set from North Edmonton, took a few calls but I think it's a done deal. Thanks dude!
On a related note, I had already got a refund email from Brownells, now they email me saying they had the package redirected to me....so I don't know WTF they are doing lol. Not sure they can get it redirected from the UK....

I don't think so based on shoulder size of the cases.....

So a new out of the bag Hornady 257 Wby will drop right into my Lee 7mm Rem Mag seater die....rim and all, with plenty of room all around it. I think it would work fine, and I'll test it out later.
The RCBS seater was only $15 though, and I'd rather have the set.

No worries, glad I could help. I've had ton of help from good people on here so always good to keep that going

The 7mm will in fact push bullets into the 257 Wby or any other case which is smaller or equal to 7mm............what it does not do is align and support the neck while doing it. Putting a bullet into the neck of a case does not constitute "seating" as done correctly with the correct die. You can install bullets into a cases neck with a hammer.......

Which brand of dies holds the neck when you seat the bullet? The case doesn't touch the die at all with Lee seaters....

Krawtchitty ole cuss........... fer a chap that measures powder by thuh shuvvel full, yer sure oarnery awn this...........:sok2

All good seating dies align the neck with the seating stem.......they do not actually touch the neck but have a couple thou clearance. Most dies that do not align the bullet and neck are junk in my opinion and one should check the run out when using these type of seaters as it is usually atrocious. Check out some benchrest micrometer seating dies..........you'll see what I am talking about. I use RCBS dies for each specific cartridge and have had great success with good to excellent accuracy across the board...........
