Pistol mag needs identifying

That's a tough one, whatever it is, it'll likely have a heel release.

What sort of cartridge will fit in it? .380 Auto, .32 ACP, etc?

Looks pretty narrow. Some type of 6.35mm I'd think.

22 cal seems to fit fine.

Pretty sure it's a 32 ACP Dreyse pistol. I'm just too tired to dig one out to be 100% sure right now.
The thru slot at the back for the mag catch is telltale.
