Hi Guys,
I number of you probably saw this gun posted for sale here a little while ago. I'm the lucky new owner. I know a bit about HiPowers but am sure there are others out there that know a lot more than I do about them. So thought I'd post some pictures and get some input.
The slide is Inglis, but the frame is FN made during the Nazi occupation in Belgium, and thus has the dirty bird stamp etc. Gun has one JI stamped mag, and a second mag that has much rougher finish, and no stamps.
The weird thing is that the serial number from the frame has been stamped onto the Inglis slide. The numbers are clear, but don't run parallel with each other, so not sure if they were factory stamped, or done by an individual.
Anybody ever seen this combination before, or have any idea on where the work may have been done?

If somebody had a Inglis frame with a Nazi FN slide, would the value of both guns be better if the parts could be swapped to have one Inglis gun, and one Nazi FN?

Information or feedback from the HiPower savvy folks amongst us appreciation.

I was thinking along the same line. You would end up with an Inglis, and an occupation Hi-Power, they just wouldn't be numbers matching.

I think it would slightly, as they would be mismatched to begin with. At least that way they are completely mismatched as a example of both a Inglis Hi-power and a occupation Hi-power.
