Build off my hunting rig or start fresh?

Ended up selling the Sps with scope to a local guy and bought a T3 Tactical off the EE.

Now I just need to find a chassis to put this thing into. Anyone know where I can get something like this without spending Roedale or AI money?

I could spend $500 or a bit more on it. But ####. $1000-4000 for stocks/chassis these days. ;)

I took my hunting rig that already shot sub MOA. Turned down the trigger. Got the MDT chassis and skeleton stock, harris bipod. She shoots even better now that I am consistent and the rifle is properly fit to me, properly bedded and barrel is truly free floated... Savage stock was flimsy and would touch...

I shoot V-max match ammo.

I need to get a better optic but that will be down the road seeing as this is a 223 and it shoots DAMN well...
Also a new bolt handle is in the mail...



 
I've been looking at the MDT a lot actually. I like the TAC 21, but not a fan of the others (no offense!) :). I figure for $1000 or less I should be able to get something like the pic above in my post.

Oh your post, I thought you meant the other one. The AICS 1.5 is around $1000. A basic Cadex and less expensive buttstock could fit the budget too. I'm not an MDT fan either.

I've tried the hs3, tac21, xlr, and shot a krg a bunch.
Krg was the best, followed by the xlr.
Would not purchase the hs3 or tac21 again.
Smooth move on the tikka tac, best bang for the buck out there for a factory rifle capable of custom performance.
 
Yeah, I have yet to receive it. But I'm pumped to get it.

I'll look into those other options. Thanks supernova. I kept looking at the 2.0. I didn't realize that was the 1.5. If I can get one of those for $1000 I'll be peachy!
