I have never heard of it. Looks kinda like a Tikka T3 and a Sauer 202 had a baby.

Yep. It is a possible replacement for my Remmy 700 in 300 winmag.
Which version are you looking at? The Timber LX is a beautiful rifle, but I'm guessing it is not cheap. The sight radius is very short, but it allows mounting a QD scope set up without getting interference from the rear sight.
