Synthetic 870 stocks

Do synthetic stocks fit both 12 and 20 ga. Express guns?

The 12GA ones only fit the old 20ga 870s. Not the new ones.

12 and 20 stocks are not interchangeable on modern 870's, but synth stocks are readily available for both sized actions. Is that what you wanted to know?

As pointed out in the last post, early 20 gauge guns way back were built on 12 gauge receivers. Not for a long time though.

Yep and one can add newer LW Model 1100 and Model 11-87 20ga butt stocks plus LT series to that list also as well as older 7400 stocks, 740, 742, 760
Just have to remember the 7400 & 7600 are mostly monte carlo style which you may not want on a shotgun pending what you are doing with it
A spacer is normally required if fitting one off a 1100
